Rev. Benjamin Carroll

Pastor Benjamin Carroll is a powerful and anointed messenger, teacher, and speaker. His voice and unique view into Christian living offer diverse groups a meaningful lens for examining and empowering their lives. By example and edict, the foundational message that believers must be discipled, discover their purpose, and live out that purpose in the earth definitively leaves many encouraged and empowered to do God’s will.
His charismatic speaking and dynamic rise in church leadership has been recognized by The Ministerial Alliance of Palm Beach County. He is the former President of the Florida East Coast Baptist Associations Ministers & Deacons Northern Fellowship from 2015-2020, where he gave leadership to more than five thousand churchgoers and Pastors in churches from as far north as Cocoa, FL, and as far south as Pompano Beach, FL.
Pastor Carroll pursued his secondary education at Florida Memorial University in Miami, Florida, where he earned his B.A. degree. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Interdenominational Theological Center Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia. He is presently a Doctor of Ministry Candidate at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He began his professional service as the Youth Minister of New Calvary Baptist Church under Dr. Posey L. Redmond and the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church of Atlanta where he was ordained in 1997 by the late Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Roberts Jr. He would go on to become the senior pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Starkville Mississippi and to serve as pastor of Evangelism and Missions for the New Birth Baptist Church of Miami Florida under Bishop Victor T. Curry. Pastor Carroll has served twenty years as the Senior Pastor of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida, since May 2005, and under his leadership Antioch has become an equipping station for active discipleship.
As a leader in social and civic organizations, Pastor Carroll’s professional memberships have included Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, the Ministerial Alliance of the Palm Beaches, and The Children’s Defense Fund. He has formed partnerships with the West Palm Beach office of Sustainability, and he is a Co-Founder of a national organization called Green the Church, which promotes sustainable practices in communities of color. He is currently the Director of Green the Church Florida, which is pioneering work in Sustainable Practices aimed at empowering the Church and Community. He served in the United States Army Reserve for more than 30 years and retired in December 2023 at the rank of Major in the Chaplains Corps. He has been mobilized three times during his military career in Support of Desert Storm at Ft Stewart, GA. In 1991. He has served as Garrison Chaplain at Southern Command in Doral, Florida, in 2010, and most recently he completed a one-year Tour of Duty with the 9th of the 108th Quartermasters as the Battalion Chaplain in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom (CRC) Conus Replacement Center in Ft. Bliss, Texas, 2018-2019. He has also served as 1st Brigade Chaplain for the 94th TNG Division HHC West Virginia. He was later assigned as the Deputy Command Chaplain for the 94th Division Ft. Lee, Virginia, ending his career in that position. During his career, he has been awarded the Armed Forces Medal with M device and Ten Year Bronze Hour Glass, Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.
Pastor Carroll is also the proprietor of Living Greater Counseling Center LLC and a Centers for Health Promotion worker specializing in combating chronic health issues.
Pastor Carroll has two adult children, Berenique and Bernae.
